My practice is both evidence based, including a biopsychosocial approach to modern pain science, as well as energy based, by acknowledging there is more power in intentional, nurturing touch than currently recognized by western medicine and philosophy.
During our 60, 90 or 120 minute session, we always work within your central nervous system’s tolerance. Sometimes a certain level of sensation can be beneficial to bring our awareness to that area of your body, as long as you can still take a deep breath through that sensation, let go, and allow that stuck energy to move out of your system. Causing pain for pain’s sake is counterproductive. My goal is to down-regulate your nervous system. I aim to move you from a sympathetic/fight-or-flight nervous system state to a parasympathetic/rest-and-digest state, which is your body's natural healing state. Our bodies are amazingly self-healing.... if given the proper conditions to do so.
Most importantly, massage should feel good! At the end of our session, my goal is for you to be deeply relaxed, refreshed, reset, and in a state of bliss!

There is never a problem cancelling or rescheduling your session with more than 24 hours notice.
24 hours or less notice, the full session rate will be charged.
